"Dog Eat Doug is the perfect mix of heart, humor, and hilarity!" - Lincoln Peirce, creator of Big Nate
“Dog Eat Doug”, created by Brian Anderson, launched as a webcomic in 2005, and in 2006, Creators Syndicate launched it into print as a daily comic strip alongside Peanuts, Garfield, and Big Nate, among others.
In 2024, “Dog eat Doug” will explode in a new line of graphic novels from Marble Press. An animated series is also in the works!
Sophie, a loveable chocolate lab, has it all…until her baby brother shows up. Through a series of imaginative adventures, Sophie and Doug duel it out for mom and dad’s attention (and all the snacks). If they survive, they might just learn to love each other, unless the cats take over the world.
A sample Dog eat Doug comic strip brought to life with some quick animation. The show will be based on the new graphic novels launching next year.
More robust animated shorts are planned to help promote the books and the show.
